Trapster® Anonymous Trap Report Tip Line
Here are three different ways you can sumbit anonymous tips to Trapster®. For each, please include the city, state, address or nearest intersection with cross street. Also send the type of trap, along with whatever other information you wish to share. We will review it for submission to the database.

3) Send a text message to us at traps@trapster.net. If you don't know how to do that, here are instructions on how to send a text message from your mobile phone to traps@trapster.net.
Definitions of trap types:
Live Police Trap
Actual (current) sighting of a police speed or other trap. Please do not enter a trap every time you see a police car driving around, or parked along the road while the officer eats a doughnut. Examples of good trap reports are police with radar or laser trap set up, motorcycle police hiding in bushes along a freeway on-ramp, a cruiser hiding near stop sign to catch "California Stops". (This type of trap lives in the system for less than an hour from the last corroboration).
Red Light Camera
The intent is pretty clear here, but many stop lights have video cameras that do not actually issue tickets. They are simply for monitoring traffic. Please try to determine if the camera you are reporting is actually a trap. (This type of trap lives in the system permanently, unless deleted by another user).
Speed Camera
Again pretty clear, but as of this writing only a few states have actual speed cameras. Please don't confuse the stationary or portable radar units (the ones that display your current speed) with units that actually issue tickets. (This type of trap lives in the system permanently, unless deleted by another user).
Usual Radar/Laser or other Enforcement Point
Live Police Trap entries only live in the system temporarily. This type of entry is permanent. Do you know of a place where police often hide? Please share it! (This type of trap lives in the system permanently, unless deleted by another user).
Have large number of known trap locations that you want to share? Ones that you created using your navigation system or other method? Just e-mail us the whole list, we'll figure it out. Please make sure entries have the trap type, along with either the complete address or latitude / longitude. You can submit in CSV or text format.
